Isaiah 12:5 says, “Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth.”

Psalm 92:1-5 says:

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night, to the music of the lute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre. For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy. How great are your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep!

Brother Lawrence said, “There is not in the world a kind of life more sweet and delightful than that of a continual conversation with God.”

Who gives us faith?

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8, ESV)

Where does faith come from?

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17, ESV)
